Purpose

  • Any potential conflicts should be promptly disclosed to the management.
  • This includes:

    • Serving in any capacity with competitors.

  • Misuse of company data will result in disciplinary action, including termination.

  • Associates must comply with company policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook.

Be Careful What You Post

  • You are personally responsible for your online activity.
  • Any inappropriate content may result in disciplinary action, including termination.
  • Posts should clearly reflect personal viewpoints, and any references to Newzzy Times must explicitly state they are personal opinions.

Be Respectful and Professional

  • Maintain professionalism and courtesy in all communications.
  • Avoid posts that could be interpreted as offensive, threatening, or harassing.
  • Respect others’ privacy and avoid sharing false or misleading information.

Be Honest and Accurate

  • Accuracy is crucial. Any mistakes should be corrected promptly.
  • Be transparent about any edits or changes made to previous posts.

Respect Laws and Confidentiality

  • Associates must comply with legal and confidentiality requirements, including copyright and privacy laws.
  • Confidential company information must never be disclosed without authorization.

Report Your Concerns

  • Any concerns regarding potential policy violations should be reported to Human Resources immediately.
  • Retaliation against whistleblowers is strictly prohibited.

Plagiarism and Fairness

  • Plagiarism is not tolerated at Newzzy Times.
  • Reporters must ensure fairness by giving all parties involved in a story an opportunity to respond adequately.
